Less than 500 meters from downtown, the public beach is undoubtedly a major asset for travelers looking to take a break in this beautiful region.
From the town, cyclists have access to over 100 km of bike trails and a unique way to explore the landscape. Free parking is available nearby, espacialy at the town hall for departures at the intersection of the 131st and 347th roads. Additionally, picnic tables and a bike repair station are located close by.
Émélie's Garden is a beautiful park, located in the town's heart, offering a pleasant place to relax and unwind. The park features several panels from the "Sainte-Émélie se raconte" series, where you can learn about the history of both the town and the region.

Climbing is a highly popular activity in Sainte-Émélie, attracting enthusiasts from all across Quebec. An indoor climbing wall has been installed at the Jean-Antoine Leprohon Center, and three outdoor climbing sites have been created in Sainte-Émélie; with the help of the Lanaudière Mountain and Climbing Club.
Tante Agastache was created with the vision and hard work of Lorraine Boury, a scientist with an artistic sense. The project became a full-fledged farm in 2020. With the summer of 2022 came a new milestone, as an organic certification and the creation of an interpretive garden open to the public were added to the project.
We are proud to be among the few beekeepers in Quebec who offer delicious raw honey, without any of the polluting machinery normally required. Come and discover the difference!
