10 kilometres of trails are available, summer and winter, for outdoor enthusiasts (Côte à Monette, Minaki, Onikam, Maskana). Trail access is located at the intersection of Route 131 and Rang 4 in Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie.
More than 7 kilometres of easy-level trails are available for hikers. The trails are enhanced by small escarpments, remarkable hemlock trees and beautiful colonies of lichen. It is a true haven of lush nature less than half a kilometre from the village centre.
Rock climbing is a highly popular activity in Sainte-Émélie, attracting enthusiasts from various regions. An indoor bouldering wall has been erected at the Centre Jean-Antoine Leprohon and three outdoor cliff climbing sites have been developed in Sainte-Émélie, in partnership with the Club de montagne et d'escalade de Lanaudière.
From Sainte-Émélie, cyclists have access to more than 100 km of cycling routes. Throughout the area, bike rides allow you to discover the landscape in a different way. Free parking is available at the town hall, at the starting point of the intersection of Routes 131 and 347. Picnic tables and a bike repair station are also available on site.
Tante Agastache is a certified organic farm specializing in the agastache plant. This native plant, from the lavender and mint family, is both ornamental, fragrant, medicinal and honey-producing. At the farm, you will find: a shop open year-round, a bulk mini-grocery, an interpretation and agroecology garden, open from June 24 to mid-September.
