Built in 1860 on the Décharge stream of Lake Caribou, one of the most important tributaries of Lake Etchemin, the Beaudoin mill served to grind grain for local farmers for over a century. It also included a sawmill upstream during part of its existence.
Its mission is now to promote the development of arts and culture.
The Caribou Lake Trail is a 6 km loop through the forest, following the shores of a pristine lake and a large marsh. Numerous viewpoints. 93 bird species have been recorded in this wilderness area. Areas of old-growth forest. 20 interpretive panels. A 5 km trail is also possible, avoiding the Marsh Loop.
