The Lac Caribou trail is a 6 km loop that follows, through the forest, the shoreline of a pristine lake and a large marsh. Numerous viewpoints. 93 bird species recorded at this wilderness site. Old-growth forest sections. 20 interpretation panels. A 5 km route is also possible by bypassing the Marsh loop.

SMO is a non-profit organization (NPO) created in 2021 by a group of volunteers driven by a shared passion for mountain biking. The organization develops mountain biking trails within the municipality of Lac-Etchemin for enthusiasts.
Built in 1860 on the Décharge du lac Caribou stream, one of the most important tributaries of Lac Etchemin, the Beaudoin Mill served to grind grain for local farmers for over a century. It also included a sawmill upstream during part of its existence. Its mission is now to promote the development of arts and culture.
