The Maison de la Culture de Bellechasse presents talented artists who will entertain and charm you. A variety of shows ranging from song to theatre, including children's shows and comedy. Come and share these moments of enjoyment with us! Films are generally shown twice a month, from September to April.
Hiking trails have been developed, along with rest areas, benches, signage, and an obstacle course trail. Visitors can admire a magnificent mural created by Saint-Damien artist Mr. Guy Laflamme, depicting the mill that once operated on the Rivière aux Billots. With more than 75 km shared between country roads and forests, the Cycloroute de Bellechasse is an ode to tranquility. Pleasantly bucolic, the paved route with gentle elevation follows the Etchemin River for the first half of the journey. The scenery then changes, giving way to forest at the foot of the Appalachians before heading to the Parc des Chutes d'Armagh, where you can cool off.
The museum stands out for its mission of highlighting an extraordinary congregation of sisters, which has demonstrated throughout its long history its resilience, its ability to adapt to its territory, and its dedication to caring for others and its region.
This project was born out of the passion of several enthusiasts of permaculture, agroecology, agroforestry, and local and sustainable development, with the goal of energizing the southern part of Bellechasse on a social, environmental and economic level.
