During the summer season, the resort offers several activities: hiking with chair lift, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding and swimming. In winter, you can enjoy 26 downhill ski slopes and 20 kilometers of cross-country ski trails.
Located 10 km east of Mont-Joli, the Reford Gardens are a must on the holiday route. Built from 1926 to 1958 by the forward-thinking horticulturist Elsie Reford, these gardens are one of Canada’s national historic sites. Some 3000 species and plant varieties, including the famous Himalayan blue poppy, are spread out over 15 gardens.
Highlighting the art of muralism, the cultural circuit Les Murmures is an invitation to discover the history of Mont-Joli and its builders. The circuit consists of 36 stations spread over different parts of the city and concentrated mainly in downtown.
The Mont-Joli tourist rest area invites you to take a break before taking Route 132, which will take you to the Gaspé Peninsula to the south or north side. On site, you will find the Maison du Tourisme and various shops and services that will allow you to recharge your batteries.
