A remnant of a railway line in the Témiscouata region, Gare l'Héritage has been fully restored and now serves as a cyclist rest stop. It is located along the route of the Le Petit Témis interprovincial cycling trail.
Hiking, cycling, boating, and other discovery activities allow visitors to experience the spirit of the place and fully appreciate a territory rich with 10,000 years of human history, nestled within unspoiled nature.
Built on a former railway line, the Petit Témis Interprovincial Linear Park is Canada's very first interprovincial cycling network. It connects Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, to Edmundston, New Brunswick.
This hiking trail, connecting 10 municipalities over 144 km, allows hikers to discover the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River. Running alongside the rivers of the agroforestry region, you can take in the breathtaking views of the Monts-Notre-Dame and Lac-Témiscouata National Park.
