Notre Marché public, situé au bord du fleuve, est le lieu vivant d’une rencontre hebdomadaire qui met en relation les citoyens avec les producteurs et transformateurs agroalimentaires, ainsi qu’avec les artisans de notre région. « Le nouveau parvis de l’église », comme plusieurs l’appellent, mais avec, en sus, un délicieux cappuccino bio offert à tous nos visiteurs.

Le Corridor des Nations (Fishing Bank sector)

In 2024, Paspébiac built a wooden footbridge leading to the Baie-des-Chaleurs. Along the path, 15 flags represent the nations from which the first settlers came, each accompanied by a plaque explaining the year of arrival and the origin of the family name. This project, which has won over the local community, combines the discovery of family roots with a healthy walk amid a stunning landscape.

La Lorraine Mill - Museaum

La Lorraine Mill - Museaum

Built in 1860 on the Décharge du lac Caribou stream, one of the most important tributaries of Lac Etchemin, the Beaudoin Mill served to grind grain for local farmers for over a century. It also included a sawmill upstream during part of its existence. Its mission is now to promote the development of arts and culture.

The Pointe-à-la-Croix site

For today, the walls that witnessed the young Gilles Vigneault studying alongside the Landry, Bourgeois, Lapierre, Cormier, Carbonneau, and Hounsell families now house an exhibition on the work of Gilles Vigneault, the celebrated poet of Natashquan.

Bike trail

From Sainte-Émélie, cyclists have access to more than 100 km of cycling routes. Throughout the area, bike rides allow you to discover the landscape in a different way. Free parking is available at the town hall, at the starting point of the intersection of Routes 131 and 347. Picnic tables and a bike repair station are also available on site.
