The Pimbina national park is situated 11 km from the village. Open year round, you can find bike trails, walking trails, beaches, snowshoe trails and cross-country skiing trails.
The ideal location to spot different bird species in a gorgeous environment. During the winter, you can use the trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
Set up in the heart of the village, these trails are very appreciated by families. The Pioneer trail and the Nature-Étude path allow you to enjoy some fresh air!
The highest mountain in Lanaudière, second highest in the Laurentians and assuredly one of the most breath taking views within 90 km of Montreal. Only a few kilometers away from the St-Donat village and bordering lake Archambault and Ouareau.
Located in La Maison Young, dating from 1830, the La Petite-Rochelle Interpretation Center tells the story of the Acadians and presents the remains of their passage on the banks of the Restigouche.

What used to be the youth center, the Maison du Tonnerre is now intergenerational and teeming with all sorts of activites all year long. Come by to see a photo exhibit and to have a picnic.
